I’m in North Carolina on business this week and will miss most of the BBQ Throwdown in Oxford, but at least I will get to see Sam Bush here Friday night. The group of bluegrass all-stars in this video includes Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton, Luke Bulla, and Byron House.

I checked out Pineross for the first time last night at Parrish’s. Pineross is led by Kevin Larkin of Mayhem String Band on mandolin, guitar, accordion (1 song), and vocals.
